Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily branch performance in San Diego. You will focus on safety, service, and results while guiding a hands-on team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include directing operations, implementing policies across warehousing, transportation and customer service, managing budgets, and ensuring DOT compliance. A Bachelor’s in Management or equivalent experience plus 2+ years of leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate overall operations to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Plan, develop, and implement operational policies across warehousing, transportation, and customer service
• Design and manage dispatch systems to improve logistics and workflow
• Implement operational changes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and manage operating budgets for warehouse, manufacturing, and transportation functions
