Job summary

BBSI is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager in San Jose, CA to oversee all warehouse activities, inventory control, and logistics for a construction services organization. The role demands a hands-on leader who can drive safety, efficiency, and accountability across teams, with backup to Fleet management when needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, and operations management experience.
• Leadership experience within a commercial construction or facilities environment.
• Experience supervising warehouse personnel, drivers, and inventory operations.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, tools, equipment, and logistics.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and warehouse safety practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Direct all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, staging, shipping, and material distribution.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and inventory reporting.
• Develop and improve warehouse organization, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available to support field operations and project schedules.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce warehouse safety standards.
• Oversee company tool inventory, accountability, and tracking.
• Coordinate repairs, calibration, maintenance, and replacement of tools.
• Supervise warehouse drivers and coordinate daily deliveries and pickups.
• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff and drivers.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
