Job summary

Otodata is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch at our Pittsburgh facility. You will collaborate with production in Canada to achieve on-time delivery and cost optimization.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse supervision, forklift certification, knowledge of international logistics, and ERP experience (Netsuite). Strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years in a supervisory position in shipping/distribution with operations focus.
• 3–5 years managing a warehouse or production line.
• Experience with Ground Shipping/Receiving Operations.
• Ability and certification to drive a forklift.
• Knowledge of International Logistics (asset).
• Knowledge of HS and tariff codification rules (asset).
• Experience with international customs clearance (USA, Asia, Europe).
• Experience with managing dangerous goods / hazardous materials (asset).
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking orders, packing where applicable, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure procedures are followed according to company standards and expectations.
• Review and manage all logistics/warehousing processes with strong internal control.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Plan, organize and manage warehouse solutions.
• Coordinate with contacts to ensure shipment coordination.
• Manage relationships with transportation brokers (FedEx, UPS, etc).
• Ensure FIFO is tracked across operations.
• Supervise daily warehouse transfers of raw parts for production lines.
• Coordinate transfers between 3PL rental warehouse and own warehouse.
• Coordinate receipt and delivery of goods.
• Lead the US warehouse team and ensure smooth operation.
• Keep inventory control system up to date and perform physical counts.
• Communicate daily with other departments and customers; participate in coordination meetings.
• Supervise and process orders; utilize automated/computerized systems.
• Mentor and train warehouse staff.
