Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles in fast-paced environments.
• In lieu of experience, certification or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx's Safety Above All culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and performance evaluations.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and supervise staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance and develop action plans to improve key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings for workforce updates and goals; communicate to audiences.
• Help develop employee relations strategies and protect confidential information.
• Contribute to safety program development and compliance.
• Train new employees on duties, FXG policies, safety and QA topics.
• Mentor and develop junior Operations Supervisors; adapt to change.
