The role focuses on executing local market strategy to advance Casella initiatives and drive profitability. The candidate should have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 3 years of relevant work experience, plus 5 years in transportation/logistics or solid waste operations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Legally eligible to work in the US.
• 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations.
• Experience coaching, routing assessments, and leading employees.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Preferred experience or interest in environmental/sustainability fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collections activities, container delivery and pickup for commercial, industrial, and residential customers.
• Manage a large team of dispatchers, drivers, and other workers.
• Develop and execute a local market strategy to advance Casella initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, environmental and ethics standards.
• Foster strong relationships with community, environmental and government groups.
• Lead performance management, coaching and employee development.
• Control labor hours and maximize productivity across routes.
