Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is assisting a healthcare technology startup in San Francisco, CA to hire an Operations Lead who will work directly with the Founder and CEO on the company’s highest-priority initiatives. This highly visible role will support critical initiatives across recruiting, internal systems, legal and compliance operations, clinical partnerships, and clinical-team management.

Qualifications

• Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.
• Very high attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to move quickly, juggle priorities, and execute with limited direction.
• Technical literacy and the ability to learn new tools rapidly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Humility, drive, and desire to grow with an early-stage company.
• Experience in consulting, investment banking, product management, entrepreneurship, startup operations, or similarly demanding environments preferred.
• Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CEO on the company’s highest-priority initiatives.
• Manage the clinical hiring process from sourcing through onboarding.
• Interview candidates and coordinate reference checks for RNs and LVNs.
• Lead cross-functional operational projects from planning through execution.
• Improve internal processes, workflows, and systems as the company scales.
• Support legal, compliance, clinical partnership, and team-management initiatives.
• Help strengthen company culture, accountability, and performance.
