Job summary

Hacker, a Portland-based architecture and interior design studio, seeks a Business Operations Manager to serve as the operational hub of the firm. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coordinate day-to-day activities, optimize processes, and support leadership and staff to deliver exceptional client work.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in business operations, office management, or related roles.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, or professional services preferred.
• Experience coordinating outsourced service providers (finance/HR/IT).
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Comfort learning and administering business systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations of the firm.
• Supervise the administrative team and align resources to support operations and delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce administrative burden.
• Manage office procedures, facilities, vendors, licenses, insurance, and records.
