Acs Infrastructure Development Inc is seeking a Lead Operator in College Park, GA for the ATL Automated Transit Network (ATN) Pilot. This full-time, on-site role oversees day-to-day operational delivery, coordinates with the general contractor and subcontractors, and builds the operations team for pilot launch.

The ideal candidate will lead on-site operations, manage a frontline staff, and ensure readiness milestones are met through testing and early revenue service.

Qualifications

• Strong background in field operations, construction management, or transit operations—rail, BRT, airport operations, or complex transportation systems preferred.
• Previous experience as a control room operator or supervisor is desirable.
• Local Atlanta-area candidate; must be available on-site throughout construction, testing, and pilot phases.

Responsibilities

• Establish the ATL operations organization using roles defined in the O&M and Operational Readiness plans.
• Own day-to-day OCC execution and OR governance with the Project Director and Strategic Execution team.
• Transition from a project delivery site lead to full Operations Manager ownership as the project moves into pilot and revenue service.
• Recruit, hire, oversee, and manage Station Ambassadors and Safety Attendants—typically college students from local schools.
• Supervise and schedule Ambassador and Safety Attendant staff; set expectations and monitor coverage.
