Job summary

Glydways is seeking a Site Safety Manager for the Atlanta ATN Pilot Project to oversee the site safety management system across construction, testing, commissioning, and passenger operations. The role reports to the Project Director and Safety Lead, conducts audits, and ensures compliance and incident investigations.

You will coordinate with maintenance, operations, and contractors to maintain safe site conditions.

Qualifications

• Senior safety-management experience across construction, system integration and testing, commissioning, passenger operations, and maintenance.
• Experience in public transportation, automated transit, rail fixed guideway, or similar high-consequence systems.
• Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems, risk management, SRACs tracking, FRACAS, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site safety management system for the Glydways Atlanta ATN Pilot Project.
• Perform site safety audits and stop work or service when safety controls are breached.
• Maintain the ATL Site Hazard Log and coordinate incident notification, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure OSHA reporting, hazard communication, and lockout/tagout compliance on site.
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, operations, and authorities for safety readiness.
