Job summary

Clear Channel Outdoor in Chicago, IL seeks an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in overseeing installation of advertising copy, construction and maintenance of outdoor structures, buildings, shops, offices and fleet vehicles.

You will help manage production, coordinate schedules, work with sales, marketing and finance on pricing, ensure OSHA/EPA/DOT safety compliance, and provide administrative support including budgeting, staffing, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination.
• Two or more years in construction trades.
• One+ year of supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing production operations including construction, installations.
• Coordinate pricing discussions with sales, marketing and finance.
• Provide operational guidance on safety, productivity and costs.
• Monitor OSHA, EPA, DOT compliance and safety regulations.
• Coordinate production schedules based on client needs.
• Work with vendors to obtain quotes and make purchases.
• Handle administrative duties like budgeting and staff development.
• Support field and warehousing tasks as workload requires.
• Maintain inventories and records for materials and personnel.
• Represent the company at hearings or inquiries when needed.
