Amazon seeks a Lead Associate at our Baltimore-area operation to drive frontline leadership in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed warehouse environment. You will motivate the team, manage operations, safety, quality, and delivery promises, and collaborate with partners to ensure smooth fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective prioritization, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delight customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours
• Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Support, motivate, and model desired behavior for the rest of the team
• Manage operational processes, safety, quality, performance, and customer delivery promises
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized workspace
• Provide ongoing training in areas including system and equipment knowledge, quality training, general operations
• Provide feedback on processes and standards, serving as escalation point
• Maintain a key to the site, and open and close following proper procedures
• Handle a wide assortment of products including produce, meat, seafood, and alcoholic beverages
• Receive truck deliveries
• Collaborate with associates and delivery partners for smooth operations
• Participate in associate onboarding as required
• Ensure consistent execution of product workflow processes
• Perform front-line duties as necessary
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer experience and operations
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product
• Perform additional duties as assigned
