Pacific Islands Construction in Honolulu, HI seeks an Assistant Operations Manager – Commercial Roofing & Building Envelope to lead service division expansion and production project support. This full-time role requires 3–10 years in commercial roofing or building envelope operations, proficiency in AutoCAD/Bluebeam and MS Office, OSHA 30, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Salary range $80,000–$125,000 with competitive base plus bonuses; comprehensive benefits and paid vacation

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in commercial roofing or building envelope construction operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage field crews and coordinate with foremen.
• Proficiency in construction software (AutoCAD/Bluebeam) and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Drive Growth: Proactively develop and build leads, establish recurring maintenance programs, and promote the department’s repair/service capabilities to building owners and property managers.
• Estimation & Scoping: Review bids, service requests, and specifications; assist pricing for localized service work.
• Customer Relations: Act as primary contact for service clients, handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Project Execution: Assist the Project Management Team in the execution of large-scale commercial production projects.
• Resource Coordination: Manage material purchasing, logistics, and inventory; ensure smooth handoffs between departments.
• Quality & Safety Control: Monitor job sites to ensure work conforms to specifications, budgets, and OSHA regulations.
