ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson in Richland, MS, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead our full-time team, oversee operations, and deliver high-quality cleaning services, including forklift and scrubber operations.

Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience is required.
• Experience in commercial cleaning and forklift operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to high-quality results.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work evenings if needed.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs during shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside cleaning crew during scheduled shifts at client sites.
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitation.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train and guide team on cleaning techniques, chemical usage and safety.
• Communicate with clients regarding site-specific needs and requests.
• Manage supplies and equipment inventory; report shortages or maintenance needs.
• Enforce company policies, safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular inspections for cleanliness, safety and operations.
