ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson in Richland, MS is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations and inspire a cleaning crew across multiple sites. This full-time role requires hands-on supervision, scheduling, and a focus on safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with clients, train staff on cleaning techniques and equipment, including forklift operations, and ensure OSHA compliance. Compensation is $20.00 per hour with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and work alongside cleaning crew members during scheduled shifts at commercial cleaning sites.
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, floor scrubbing, and forklift operations.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Train and guide team members on cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding site-specific needs or requests.
• Manage supplies and equipment inventory and report shortages or maintenance needs.
• Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance.
