Job summary

Cardinal Health offers a 10-12 week Summer Internship Program in Ontario, CA, for undergraduates entering their senior year. You’ll contribute to real business outcomes on meaningful projects, while gaining exposure to healthcare operations and leadership development.

Responsibilities include mapping processes, presenting solutions, and collaborating across receiving, packing, and shipping teams. The program includes mentoring, workshops, and networking opportunities with leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, Supply Chain or related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles; Lean Six Sigma or related improvement techniques preferred.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Unlimited work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes.
• Document and present solutions to site leadership to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity.
• Assist and collaborate with leaders in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse functions.
• Analyze existing KPI and design workflows to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Participate in Kaizen events and other continuous improvement initiatives.
