Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Summer Internship Program offers a 10–12 week paid experience for undergraduates entering their senior year, delivering real-world projects and exposure to the healthcare industry.

Based in Auburn, WA, interns collaborate with Cardinal Health professionals, participate in mentoring, and present their work to business leaders while developing leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field and preferred graduation between 2027 and 2028.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles or Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities are essential.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and able to collaborate with teams.
• Must have unrestricted US work authorization now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes.
• Document and present solutions to site leadership to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity.
• Assist and collaborate with functional teams such as receiving, packing, shipping, and warehousing.
• Support daily warehouse operations to increase productivity and observe processes on the floor.
• Analyze KPIs and design workflows to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen.
