Job summary

Cencora is offering a 10-week Operations Intern program in Newburgh, NY. You will apply your academic knowledge in a real-world, business-driven setting, work with a mentor, and gain exposure to multiple supply chain functions within our distribution centers.

This onsite internship runs from June 7 to August 13, 2027. You will develop leadership, analytics, and project management skills while supporting daily workload planning, process improvement projects, and team collaboration across shifts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing relevant bachelor’s degree in listed fields; graduation within 1 year.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities demonstrated in academics.

Responsibilities

• Understand supply chain functions and disciplines.
• Engage with hourly team members and senior leadership.
• Assist in analyzing and developing supply chain metrics.
• Report findings to team and management.
• Plan daily/weekly workloads to meet business priorities.
• Support project work with minimal supervision.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings.
• Be flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Develop communication and interpersonal skills.
• Learn across all business areas to build business acumen.
• Foster inclusive, safe culture.
• Rotate through departments as trained.
• Other duties as needed.
