Job summary

The TRU Simulation internship program at Textron in Lutz, FL offers a hands-on summer experience in operations. As a TRU Customer Support Intern, you will learn to analyze and develop solutions to design and manufacturing issues, and support operations at both facilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes, resolve system problems, and analyze data from design proposals and manuals to assess feasibility.

• Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late May to early August lasting 10 weeks.
• Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and evaluate electro‑mechanical products, systems, and processes to support new and existing aircraft flight simulator trainers.
• Confer with peers and cross‑functional team to implement new processes, resolve system operation errors, and implement procedures
• Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
