Job summary
The TRU Simulation internship program at Textron in Lutz, FL offers a hands-on summer experience in operations. As a TRU Customer Support Intern, you will learn to analyze and develop solutions to design and manufacturing issues, and support operations at both facilities.

As an intern with Textron, you’ll gain hands‑on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You’ll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways – working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.
The TRU Customer Support Intern will have the drive and ability to learn and contribute quickly in a team setting, analyze and develop solutions to design and manufacturing issues, as well as assisting our operations of both facilities.
Research, design, and evaluate electro‑mechanical products, systems, and processes to support new and existing aircraft flight simulator trainers.
Confer with peers and cross‑functional team to implement new processes, resolve system operation errors, and implement procedures
Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Management, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with manufacturing, engineering, or a combination of both.
