Job summary

Textron Aviation is offering a summer internship designed to give hands-on experience across service, repair and maintenance operations. Interns will support multiple functional areas, assist management in production control, and learn scheduling and quality improvement processes on day-to-day tasks.

You will work with experienced professionals, gain exposure to real projects, and benefit from mentorship and development opportunities within a global Fortune 500 company.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team in controlling production output, costs and quality.
• Support production activities with Value Stream Leaders to meet production schedules and delivery dates.
• Develop an understanding of scheduling and priority of operations for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Report on status of repairs and act to eliminate delays and parts shortages.
• Work with Quality Control on disposition of inspections and recurring defects.
