Interfor invites motivated students to join our Monticello maintenance internship for a hands-on summer experience. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced professionals, gain practical skills, and contribute to projects focused on equipment reliability and process improvement in a real sawmill environment.

The 4- to 8-month program begins May 2027, with competitive compensation starting at $3,700 per month and a temporary living allowance for interns relocating to the area.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in an industry-related program (forestry, supply chain, mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering).
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Clear communication and teamwork across departments.
  • Interest in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
