Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a locally owned Olympia, WA organization to hire an Operations & HR Manager. The role blends financial oversight, business operations, and HR administration in a small company setting.

You will work closely with ownership, a bookkeeper, and CPA to review financial information, monitor performance, and drive profitability while coordinating HR processes and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, accounting, finance, or HR administration.
• Experience in small business environments and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; disciplined with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, payroll, profitability and cash flow.
• Develop KPI reporting and dashboards; assist budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate HR processes: interviewing, onboarding, offboarding, benefits.
• Collaborate with outside bookkeeper and CPA for timely financial reporting.
• Supervise administrative staff and improve workflows.
