MATS Research in Berkeley seeks an Operations Generalist to support fellows, mentors, and staff, helping to run events, coordinate facilities, and improve systems. You will manage onboarding/offboarding, vendor relations, and day-to-day office operations to keep the program running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly with team members and fellows.

Qualifications

• Based in Berkeley, CA or willing to relocate to in-person office on most days.
• Experience in operations, project management, events, administration, or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to create order from chaos and standardize workflows.
• Ability to communicate clearly and kindly, both written and verbal.
