Job summary

WeDriveU, a leader in private shuttle and public transit solutions, seeks a General Manager in Hallandale Beach, FL. The role reports to the VP of Operations and focuses on managing teams, developing account strategy, and delivering measurable performance improvements for a major client.

The General Manager will oversee route planning, staffing, invoicing, forecasting, and client reporting while driving data-driven decisions to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as senior manager of an ADA paratransit service.
• 5 years ADA paratransit scheduling/dispatch experience.
• Strong ADA compliance knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business, Transportation, Public Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as the client’s main point of contact and an extension of the client’s internal teams.
• Manage logistics of route planning, staffing, and client engagement to ensure service level agreements are met.
• Oversee monthly client invoicing process.
• Provide clients with monthly financial forecasts and detailed reports explaining variances to actual billing.
• Manage rider communications through email and other media, and update the rider information website as needed.
• Utilize technology platforms to monitor and optimize shuttle service and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Use Project Management skills to foster collaboration between teams and meet deadlines.
• Create and administer surveys to gather data to improve rider satisfaction.
• Maintain collaboration with local operations to ensure driver and fleet standards.
• Collaborate with customer success, marketing, and Global Operations Control to support program goals.
• Weekly and monthly reporting to the client on service updates and performance.
• Meet with the client’s transportation team weekly to discuss ongoing initiatives.
• Monitor transportation metrics dashboards to drive program decisions.
• Additional duties as needed.
