Job summary

The Air Force Test Center at Arnold AFB, TN is seeking a Full-Time Supervisory General Engineer - Operations Flight Chief (NH-0801-03) in the Civil Engineering Branch. The role leads a multi-discipline team, plans and directs facility maintenance, budgets, and engineering operations to support base mission.

Candidates should have ABET-accredited engineering degree, PE registration encouraged, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license desired but not required.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel and assign work; evaluate performance.
• Direct the activities of the Flight and manage facility maintenance and services.
• Represent the Flight with installation and base organizations.
• Coordinate issues with higher headquarters and prepare briefing packages and reports.
• Develop and execute Flight budget and work classification; align with AMPs and investment plans.
