Job summary

Air Force Test Center in Tennessee seeks a Supervisory General Engineer - Operations Flight Chief to lead a diverse team of engineers and technicians ensuring safe and effective operation of facilities and utilities at Arnold Air Force Base. This role manages budgets, schedules, and performance, coordinating with base-wide organizations to deliver mission-critical infrastructure support.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• PE license is desired but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and assign work priorities to engineers and technicians.
• Plan, organize, and direct the Operations Flight activities and budgets.
• Maintain relationships with base entities and other offices involved in Flight work.
• Coordinate with HQ, regulators, and external officials on Flight issues.
• Develop and execute the Flight budget and data systems for planning and execution.
