Atlas Global Talent is seeking an Operations Executive for a fully remote role in the United States. You will support the freight brokerage operation, coordinating shipments, handling customer inquiries and quoting freight with a focus on profitability.
The role combines operational duties with a commercial element, including commission on loads booked and uncapped earning potential. A Thursday-to-Monday schedule is required, with Pacific Time working hours.
My client is a growing US transportation and logistics provider looking to appoint an Operations Executive to support its expanding freight brokerage operation. This is a fully remote position combining freight operations, customer service, carrier coordination and commercial responsibilities.
The role is ideal for someone who understands how freight brokerage works, enjoys managing the movement of shipments and can confidently communicate with both customers and carriers.
You'll be responsible for handling customer enquiries, preparing freight quotations, booking loads, resolving transportation issues and ensuring shipments are executed efficiently.
Unlike many traditional logistics operations positions, this opportunity also offers commission on the loads you book, giving you the ability to increase your earnings through your own performance.
With a base salary of $48,000 - $50,000 plus uncapped commission, this is an opportunity for a commercially minded logistics professional who wants a combination of operational responsibility and additional earning potential.
As an Operations Executive, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day management of customer freight.
You'll act as a central point of communication between customers, carriers and internal teams, ensuring transportation requirements are understood, loads are booked correctly and shipments are managed through to successful delivery.
The position requires someone who can think quickly, remain organised and take ownership of problems when they arise.
You'll also have a commercial element to your responsibilities, preparing quotations, negotiating carrier rates and securing loads while maintaining service quality and profitability.
This is a Thursday-to-Monday position, working 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Pacific Time, providing important operational coverage across both weekdays and weekends.
My client is interested in speaking with individuals who have experience within freight brokerage, transportation operations or third-party logistics.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience across expedited freight, sprinter vans, dry van, flatbed or cross-border transportation would be particularly advantageous.
One of the key differences between this position and a traditional freight operations role is the opportunity to earn commission.
In addition to your base salary, you'll receive commission on loads booked, allowing your earnings to grow alongside your operational and commercial performance.
The commission structure is uncapped, with no draw against future earnings.
This creates an opportunity for someone who is confident quoting freight, negotiating with carriers and securing loads to benefit financially from the business they help generate.
This is a fully remote position available to candidates based within the United States.
The working schedule is:
The position requires someone who is comfortable working independently and providing consistent operational coverage during weekends.
This position offers an attractive combination of operational responsibility, remote flexibility and performance-based earning potential.
You'll have the opportunity to manage freight, develop customer and carrier relationships, negotiate rates and play a direct role in the successful execution of transportation services.
Rather than being restricted to a traditional fixed-salary operations position, you'll have the opportunity to earn additional income through the loads you book.
The Thursday-to-Monday schedule also provides two consecutive weekdays off, which may appeal to someone who prefers a different working pattern from the traditional Monday-to-Friday structure.
For someone who enjoys the pace of freight brokerage, is confident dealing with customers and carriers, and wants to be rewarded for their contribution, this could be a strong next step.
If you're currently working within freight brokerage, logistics operations, carrier coordination or transportation and are looking for a fully remote position with additional commission earning potential, I'd be happy to have a confidential conversation.
My client is particularly interested in individuals who can confidently manage freight quotations, book loads, resolve issues and provide excellent service to both customers and carriers.
Candidates must be comfortable working Thursday through Monday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
