Job summary

Liberty Mutual Investments seeks a Vice President, Operational Excellence to strengthen daily operations across the investment platform. You will lead first-line risk assessments, governance reporting, and remediation programs across Treasury Services, Derivatives, Loan and Alternatives Operations, Shared Services, and Investment Accounting Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational risk and control frameworks
• Strong ability to design and run first-line risk assessments
• Ability to translate data into actionable governance insights

Responsibilities

• Design and run a recurring first-line risk and control self-assessment across seven operating teams
• Maintain a living map of operational risks and residual risk
• Test control effectiveness and drive remediation to closure
• Identify gaps, prioritize at function level, and own them through to closure
• Document assessment evidence for governance forums
• Own and report on operational KPIs and health metrics
• Partner with Transformation and Product teams to convert gaps into durable fixes
