Job summary

Liberty Mutual Investments seeks a senior executive to guide investments within the insurance balance sheet, collaborating with regulatory, accounting, and legal teams to align commercial objectives with prudence. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or related field; advanced degree, CPA, or CFA a plus.
• 10–15 years of experience in insurance investments, insurance finance, regulatory or statutory accounting, banking, consulting, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in insurance statutory accounting (SAP/SSAP), NAIC reporting and RBC frameworks; direct insurance company or insurance-focused experience preferred.
• Fluency across regulatory regimes (NAIC/RBC, Solvency II, Bermuda BSCR) and implications for investment strategy.
• Strong understanding of asset allocation and general account portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as GSCA's expert on statutory accounting, NAIC reporting, RBC treatment, and rating agency capital frameworks as they apply to investments.
• Provide strategic investment lens to portfolio design and assessment of new opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into actionable recommendations for portfolio design and entity strategy.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Investment, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Financial Reporting teams.
• Direct AI-driven tooling to scale insight generation and scenario analysis.
