Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Advanced degree in engineering related field preferred.
• 5 years in the specific technical discipline or 10 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines, or 3 years in the specific technical discipline with Masters degree, or 1 year in the specific technical discipline with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain detailed work instructions, drive quality and schedule performance, and coordinate engineering and tooling changes to meet Operations goals.
• Contribute to planning, developing and coordinating projects for process development and improvement in manufacturing areas.
• Provide specialized technical assistance and training to Operations Engineering team members.
• Use advanced techniques and modified theories to provide technical solutions affecting aircraft manufacture and systems installation.
• Determine and develop individual approaches to solutions within schedule and cost objectives.
• Act as liaison with representatives from other organizations and suppliers.
