Job summary
Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in St. Louis seeks an Operations Engineering Specialist I to support manufacturing engineering for Gulfstream products.
You will develop detailed work instructions, drive quality and efficiency improvements, manage daily work plans, and coordinate engineering and tooling changes to meet operations goals. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating projects, providing technical assistance to the Operations Engineering team, and preparing repair drawings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
- 5 years in the specific technical discipline or 10 years in several disciplines, or 3 years with a Masters, or 1 year with a PhD.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed work instructions and drive quality improvements.
- Coordinate engineering and tooling changes to meet production goals.
- Assist with planning and development of manufacturing projects.
- Design aircraft structural repair drawings with basic static analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and managers across disciplines.
