Gulfstream Aerospace in St. Louis is seeking an Operations Engineering Specialist I to support planning, coordination and methods development for Gulfstream products.
You will develop tooling and design support for production and improve processes in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years in a technical discipline or 10 years across multiple disciplines.
The compensation range for this role is $93,610 - $127,435.35 per year.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

Fundamental understanding of aircraft structures design and repair with practical hands on aircraft engineering experience and technical problem solving.The ability to use computer aided design tools such as Solid Works, CATIA V5, AutoCAD, or similar in the design, analysis, or interrogation of aircraft structures, cabin monuments, or systems.Must have experience providing shop floor instructions and working directly with the technical workforce technicians, leads, and managers.
Bachelor's Degree engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Advanced degree in engineering related field preferred. 5 years in the specific technical discipline or 10 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines, or 3 years in the specific technical discipline with Masters degree, or 1 year in the specific technical discipline with PhD. Position Purpose:Assist with the planning, coordination, performance of methods, tooling, and design supporting the development and production of Gulfstream products and services.
