Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead cross-functional projects in the design, development, and delivery of distribution systems. You will manage schedules, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and ensure timely handovers as you implement facility network infrastructure, new builds, retrofits, and expansions.

The role requires up to 80% travel, relocation flexibility, and strong CAD skills with experience in industrial engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 1+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex project lifecycles across organizations and geographies, delivering on objectives and targets as project owner.
• Lead execution of systems and automated equipment designs per established standards; perform installation, throughput, and safety qualifications.
• Communicate project status, risk analysis, and mitigation plans to leadership with clear, concise summaries.
