Job summary
Amazon is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead cross-functional projects in the facility network, delivering next-generation sortation and distribution solutions. You will manage schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications while coordinating with internal and external teams.
Requires a Bachelor's in industrial/manufacturing engineering, 4+ years in related roles, and experience with MHE and automated systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
- 4+ years in industrial/operations/manufacturing engineering roles.
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions.
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Manage lifecycle of cross-functional projects in material handling systems and automation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to set priorities and milestones.
- Lead execution and installation of systems and equipment per established standards.
- Communicate project status, risk analysis, and mitigation plans to leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and provide training and handoffs.
