Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a high-rate supply chain or manufacturing environment with heavy data utilization.
• Ability to read technical documentation such as drawings and CAD data.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Onsite in Costa Mesa, CA or relocate to be onsite.

Responsibilities

• Passionately work across multiple programs from development to full rate production to scale best-in-class solutions.
• Proactively identify imbalances and bottlenecks in inventory processes, line layouts, parts shortages, staffing shortages, and other constraints; coordinate with owners across Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality.
• Own the metrics, KPIs, and reporting for production line health and efficiency, including cycle time, throughput, capacity, utilization, non-conformities, and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct time studies of current and developing processes to ensure efficiency across warehouse and operations.
• Develop processes to optimize workplans for highly variable demands across multiple sites.
• Translate tools and reports into actionable tasks impacting warehouse operations across multiple sites.
• Create and maintain tools to improve accuracy of work demand for new facilities and mature processes using data-driven methods (Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Line Balancing).
• Be proactive and drive improvements to the warehouse team, pushing changes to the floor quickly and iterating toward world-class levels.
