Job summary

Mach Industries is seeking an Operations Engineer to act as a deployable technical operator. You will be embedded with engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams to automate processes, build real‑time dashboards, and scale cross‑functional systems across the company.

You will develop tooling and integration with ERP, MES, and PLM, enabling faster decision making while maintaining product velocity and momentum through change. Strong automation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 1–3+ years in a fast paced collaborative work environment within an engineering or consulting field.
• Strong systems‑level intuition across electrical, mechanical, and software boundaries.
• Ability to build credibility quickly across teams and influence outcomes without formal authority.
• Clear communication of complex technical issues to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of internal automation systems across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
• Architect and maintain real‑time data pipelines and dashboards for decision‑grade visibility.
• Design scalable architectures to support new product lines and facilities.
• Instrument workflows with inputs/outputs, controls, and measurable metrics.
• Diagnose inefficiencies with data‑driven analysis and implement solutions.
• Build program execution tooling and tracking systems; monitor risks.
• Integrate software systems and cross‑functional data sources across PLM, ERP, MES.
• Develop lightweight internal applications, scripts, and APIs for coordination and reporting.
• Partner with leaders to translate strategies into implemented systems and processes.
