Job summary

Advanced industries LLC seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and scaling of manufacturing processes across product lines in Odessa, MO. You will drive automation, fixtures, and tooling, while standardizing documentation and ERP data to support shop floor operations.

You will manage cross-functional projects, mentor teams, and push for cost reductions, throughput gains, and quality improvements across high-mix environments.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, DraftSight, and other design and simulation tools.
• Skill and knowledge of CNC machining, welding processes, robotic automation.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and production control methodologies.
• Experience in automation of manual processes.
• Experience in CNC programming, robotic programming, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Proven track record with manufacturing process development, automation, and capital projects.
• Prior experience in high-mix, low-volume environments is a plus.
• CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) and robotic welding programming experience are a plus.
• ERP system experience (Global Shop, Syteline, SAP, etc.) strongly preferred.
• Teamwork oriented, open office environment.
• PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and earplugs must be worn while in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Design and implementation of fixtures, tooling, and automation for welding, CNC machining, and assembly.
• Identify and implement strategic process improvements to reduce cost, increase throughput, and enhance quality.
• Define and manage manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop and standardize robust documentation and work instructions.
• Lead configuration management activities and executing engineering changes.
• Maintain and improve ERP-integrated manufacturing data such as BOMs and routings.
• Provide engineering support to shop floor, vendors, and other departments.
