Responsibilities include receiving and dispatching orders, prioritizing urgent calls, directing crews by radio or computer, monitoring routes, and maintaining logs and records while coordinating with supervisors and customers as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries.
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
• Use radio, phone, or computer to coordinate field units.
• Monitor the route and status of field units to optimize schedules.
• Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements.
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records.
• Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
• Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment.
• Preparing daily work such as schedules.
