Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Pompano Beach Operations Director to provide site leadership and oversight of EHS, Facilities and Manufacturing. The role partners with Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Programs and Flight Deck leadership to drive objectives and ensure safe, compliant operations while delivering new products to milestones.

Lead daily management, support continuous improvement, and manage budgets with a focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, science or business.
• Minimum of 8 years of technical or operational leadership experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide site operations leadership for the Pompano Beach facility and oversee EHS, facilities, and manufacturing operations.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Programs and Flight Deck leadership to meet objectives.
• Drive New Product Introduction design for manufacturing through milestones and delivery.
• Lead daily management, standard work, and problem solving to improve site performance.
• Manage budget development and allocate resources to meet site goals.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity targets are met.
