Job summary

GE Aerospace in Pompano Beach seeks an Operations Director to lead site operations in Florida, aligning objectives with a cross-functional team and driving New Product Introduction for manufacturing milestones.

The role oversees EHS, Facilities/Security, and Manufacturing Operations while partnering with Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Programs and FLIGHT DECK to meet business goals. Strong leadership and cost focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 8 years of technical or operational leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all who work in the facility and operation.
• Ensure the site remains compliant with EHS and Quality governance.
• Lead site team and partner with cross-functional functions.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance and site improvement projects.
• Direct day-to-day operations and coordinate with OE, NPI and NTI milestones.
• Manage procurement, calibration and repair of lab equipment.
• Develop and track budgets with input from each organization.
• Establish organizational structure to best support site goals.
