Job summary

Fortune Personnel Consultants - Orlando Office is recruiting for a Director/VP-level manufacturing leader to drive operations, new product launches, and performance across large contract sites. The role requires leading plant teams, ensuring readiness from suppliers through final assembly, and optimizing OEE, quality, capacity and delivery.

Location is flexible with travel to multiple sites and corporate HQ as needed.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience leading manufacturing and operations teams.
Proven track record guiding high-volume launch processes from development to production ramp.
Experience evaluating contract manufacturing supply chains and readiness.
Ability to resolve supplier capacity constraints and delivery issues before production.
Strong background in automation introduction and ongoing performance improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing teams across large contract sites and drive launch readiness.
Assess materials, tooling, equipment, processes and staffing for planned volumes.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain to close readiness gaps.
Manage operational impact of design changes and volume shifts.
Lead automation improvements and ramp support for sustained performance.
Use OEE to identify losses and verify improvements.
Address capacity and delivery constraints across suppliers and sites.
Build consistent operating practices across global sites.
Balance launch timing, quality, capacity and cost with clear decision-making.
