Job summary

Odyssey Logistics seeks a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day site activities including warehousing, production, and shipping. You will lead a small team, drive KPI execution, and modernize processes with Lean/Six Sigma while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will partner with site leaders to meet customer requirements, manage performance metrics, and guide continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 8 years in operations with a focus on chemical manufacturing and distribution, plant management, and logistics including freight, warehousing, and distribution.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership and direct supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team (up to five direct reports) and drive KPI implementation and tracking.
• Maintain safety-first culture and pursue operational excellence across warehousing, production, and shipping.
• Partner with site leaders to meet customer requirements and business performance metrics.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and apply Lean/Six Sigma to improve workflows.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and produce reports and communications for senior leadership.
