Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Director of Operations for the Vandalia, Illinois site to lead warehousing, production, and shipping activities. This onsite role reports to the VP of Fulfillment Management Services and requires building a high-performing team, driving KPI-based performance, and modernizing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s or master’s preferred
• Minimum 8 years in operations with focus on chemical manufacturing and distribution
• Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day site operations including warehousing, production, and shipping.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team (up to five direct reports).
• Drive KPI tracking and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with site leaders to meet customer requirements and performance metrics.
