Job summary

OTG is seeking an Operations Director for Newark (EWR) to lead restaurant and market operations and drive initiatives with the Airport Director. You will oversee staffing, training, food quality and presentation, guest services, and policy maintenance to achieve operational goals.

You will manage scheduling, lead managers and crew, and ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining OTG standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business, or Culinary Arts.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of senior managerial experience in multi-unit concepts.
  • Proficient knowledge of P&L, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Commitment to service of others, crew, co-workers, and leaders.
  • Demonstrated dependability, personal drive, and leadership by example.
  • Ability to train, delegate, coach, and aid in crewmembers' development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, days, and holidays.
  • Ability to clear background checks for OTG and Airport badge.

  • Directs managers and crewmembers to meet company standards.
  • Administration and follow-up as directed.
  • Assist with assigning and defining areas of responsibility for leadership; sets deadlines.
  • Directs the team toward achieving goals.
  • Maintains a positive work environment for management and staff.
  • Provides a workplace free from hazards following safety policies and laws.

The Operations Manager at [Airport name] is a senior management leader at OTG; this position will support and assist all restaurant and market operations and project manage airport and corporate initiatives. This may include staffing, development and training, food quality and presentation, guest services, and the maintenance of all policies and procedures.
