Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking an operations-focused professional to design a new service from the ground up and lead it into BAU. You will map current and future states, embed risk controls, and prepare readiness activities for go-live, then oversee the service in production with emphasis on control results and client impact.

The role requires independent work, attention to detail, and the ability to produce complete operational deliverables, not just coordination.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fund operations experience in FOS, Transfer Agency, cash allocation, or related end-to-end workflow.
• Experience designing operating models and documenting processes.
• Ability to turn incomplete information into structured, usable deliverables and drive open items through closure.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, writing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfort operating in a dynamic environment with ownership for implementation and BAU outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead current-state and future-state process design with cross-team walkthroughs.
• Create current-state and future-state process maps, roles, handoff points, service boundaries, and exception paths.
• Design a scalable operating model that minimizes manual work and supports future clients.
• Identify risks and design preventive, detective, and recovery controls with clear owners.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, supporting procedures, Archer controls, Task Manager checklist items, and FTTOP documentation.
• Plan readiness activities, model office testing, and go-live recommendations.
• Oversee daily service delivery in a highly automated environment, focusing on exceptions and client impact.
