Job summary

United Airlines offers an Operations Data & Analytics Intern role within the Operations Products team. You will work on turning raw airline data into real-world insights spanning flight performance and customer experience, gaining hands-on experience with large datasets and data products.

You'll learn to document and automate SQL, Python, and Databricks processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for performance improvement.

Qualifications

Current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
Strong analytical toolkit with SQL and/or Python experience.
Ability to explain findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
Curiosity and initiative for complex data challenges with impact.

Responsibilities

Build & Validate data modules powering data products used by frontline employees and leaders.
Document, refine, and automate SQL, Python, and Databricks workflows to enable repeatable analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn operational questions into actionable insights.
