United Airlines offers an Operations Safety internship designed to provide hands-on experience with safety data analytics, AI workflows, and cross-divisional projects. You will support SMS and Operations Safety programs while learning from Safety leaders and mentors.

Open to current undergraduates/grad students, with strong analytical skills and a drive to work with data in the aviation industry. Interns gain insights into safety operations and may participate in mentorship and professional

Qualifications

Current undergraduate or graduate students demonstrating strong academic performance.
Track record of outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Ability to apply quantitative skills and discernment to the airline industry.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future.
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications.
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position.

Responsibilities

Analyze safety data and develop analytical capabilities, AI workflows/tools, and BI tooling in cross-divisional safety projects.
Support Operations Safety programs on data analytics, AI projects, and SMS improvements.
Assist Safety leaders on data projects and risk assessments.
