Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data-driven Operations Analyst to support the Operations team by delivering data insights and effective dashboards. You will consolidate data, create executive-ready visuals, and present findings to leadership to enable process improvements.

You will work with Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets to build dashboards, automate reporting, and integrate data from ADP and Smarteeva to guide critical business decisions. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in scientific, technical, or quantitative field.
• 2 to 4+ years of experience in data analytics or related field.
• Experience building dashboards for executive leadership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet the data reporting needs of the Operations team to enable continuous improvement in quality, automation, and efficiency.
• Provide actionable insights into operational performance using data.
• Determine appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data sets.
• Create operations-focused data views and interactive dashboards using Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets, and various visualization applications.
• Design, build, and present dynamic dashboards that tell a compelling, data-driven story.
• Present analytical findings and insights executive, professionally, and accurately to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Integrate data from ADP, Smarteeva, and other internal sources to drive business decision-making.
• Support Process Engineering by generating dashboards to identify bottlenecks, validate new updates, and monitor process changes.
• Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in operational data sets.
• Provide insights, data-driven recommendations, and peer coaching/mentorship to other members of the Operations team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, deadline-focused, and agile, with a strong regard for product quality and safety standards.
• Education: B.S. or M.S. (preferably in a scientific, technical, or quantitative field).
• A minimum of 2 to 4+ years of experience in data analytics or related technical fields.

Benefits

• Yearly base compensation range of $108,000-$141,000 for San Francisco Bay Area candidates or $89,000-$116,000 for Austin candidates and bonus.
