Floor Coverings International in Chicago is seeking an energetic Office Manager to lead the local franchise's front-office operations, scheduling, and customer communications.

You will oversee showrooms, coordinate installations, assist with marketing efforts, and keep financials up to date using QuickBooks.

No prior experience required, but 1–3 years preferred; this is a full‑time role with training and growth opportunities, reflecting our family‑minded, results-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Experienced in bookkeeping using QuickBooks is a plus.
• Able to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop trust with customers by living our Core Values.

• Convert leads to appointments by scheduling with sales.
• Follow up on open proposals and keep showroom/office organized.
• Assist in local marketing tactics and events.
• Resolve customer conflicts and ensure satisfaction.
• Meet with sales staff weekly to discuss orders and expectations.
• Update Salesforce/production board and communicate schedules.
• Order products and schedule jobs with installers and customers.
• Update QuickBooks daily with income/expenses and job costs.
