Job summary

Acacia Network is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee facility services in the Bronx, NY. The role involves coordinating maintenance, supervising staff, and ensuring compliant operations to support community programs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate degree in social/human sciences or psychology is preferred.
  • Two years of experience with homeless or low-income populations.
  • Current F-80 certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for administering, supervising and coordinating the facility services of the corporation.
  • Prepare documents for requests for quotations as necessary.
  • Assist in planning, coordination and monitoring of construction and renovation.
  • Plan work schedules and maintenance with contractors as necessary.
  • Plan and schedule all work activity, projects and tasks for all staff.
  • Schedule routine and preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspection of facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory control for equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct performance reviews of Facilities/Maintenance staff.

Operations Coordinator

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assists in the planning, coordination and monitoring of construction and renovation
  • Plan work schedules and maintenance requirements with contractors as necessary
  • Plan and schedule all work activity, projects and tasks for all staff
  • Schedule routine and preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspection of grounds, buildings, structures, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, HVAC equipment and other facility components
  • Maintain inventory control system for equipment and supplies
  • Conduct performance reviews and associated evaluations of all Facilities/Maintenance Department staff
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associate Degree in Social/Human Sciences, Psychology
  • Two years of experience working with the homeless and/or low and mixed-income population in addition to experience in child welfare, family work, and substance abuse
  • Understanding of low-income and homeless individuals and their specific needs
  • Current F-80 certification required
